Our Fire Safety program hosted 10th graders for a live controlled pod burn🔥! The Rensselaer Fire Department built a mock living room to simulate how quickly a fire can spread — from the alarm sounding to smoke filling the room within seconds. Students gained real insight into the dangers of fire and how fast it can escalate.

After the demonstration, Fire Safety students worked with Retired Fire Investigator Richard Daus to analyze real fire scenes and identify key signs.
