This week, Rensselaer City School District is proud to recognize National School Bus Safety Week, Oct. 21–25!
Each day, our drivers and transportation staff work hard to keep students safe as they travel to and from school. This week serves as an important reminder for students, families and community members to review safe practices on and around school buses.

🚸 Safety Reminders:

• Arrive at your bus stop 3-5 minutes early.
• Wait in a safe spot away from the road.
• Always cross in front of the bus when the driver signals it’s safe.
• Drivers—remember to stop for flashing red lights!
